Our anniversary season culminates with Antonio Vivaldi’s famous Gloria (RV 589), performed by the women of IM with chamber orchestra—a rare opportunity to hear this celebrated Baroque masterpiece as the composer originally intended. Written for the exceptionally talented all-female choir and orchestra of the Ospedale della Pietà, Venice’s renowned orphanage and music school for young women, this jubilant work offers a festive close to IM’s 20th Anniversary.
